Kevin Kline met Chelsey Campbell at a radio station fundraisng event in December of 2005.  Doctors said she had a 10% chance to see her 16th birthday, but her determination to beat those odds was the catalyst that inspired Kevin and his wife Trish to do something special for Chelsey. In June of 2006, a Houston-based charity recieved its 501(c)(3) certification from the IRS.  Snowdrop Foundation was official and the organization was “gifted” to Chelsey at her 16th birthday party.

Snowdrop Foundation is dedicated to assisting patients and families at Texas Children’s Cancer Center through funding for continued research to eliminate childhood cancer and also provide scholarships for college bound pediatric cancer patients and survivors.  They raise the money for this support through various events. Proceeds from the sale of Dear Chelsey on DVD also support the work of Snowdrop Foundation.
